Some of the crashes that I saw wouldn't of happened if the driver fallowed the signs like a red light. Most of the crashes wouldn't of happened if they weren't speeding and trying to just go to were ever they were going. When the weather is bed its not a smart idea to see how fast you can go well its not a good idea period. the comment that you made seems vary true.
