The road way signs that are yellow and shaped like a diamond are warning signs . Examples are deer crossing and pedestrian crossing. Regulatory signs are rectangular with white backgrounds and display laws and directions like speed limits and no parking. Orange diamond or rectangular shaped signs give information on construction working areas. Examples of work zones are detour and road closed.
